The purpose of the Deliverable 2.6, ICOS Cities Work Package 2, is to produce footprints at high spatial (10 m) and temporal (30 min) resolution for the flux towers at the three pilot cities Munich, Paris, Zurich. For this deliverable, the footprint parameterisation of Kljun et al., (2015) https://doi.org/10.5194/gmd-8-3695-2015 was used. This parameterisation can be applied to identify sources and sinks contributing to the measured gas fluxes with relatively low computing time. The FFP footprints compiled for Deliverable 2.6 can support analyses of diurnal and seasonal fluxes as well as the identification of hotspots or emission events contributing significantly to urban flux measurements. Please read this document for further details about the provided NetCDF datafiles for Munich : https://doi.org/10.18160/040N-7AP7 , Paris: https://doi.org/10.18160/AVNN-G6Z7 , Zurich: https://doi.org/10.18160/CCV0-XH6P .
