This Report on preliminary outcomes of co-design workshops is based on our work for sub-task 1.4.2, and it also connects with the data collected in other tasks of WP1, as well as the inputs from WP2, WP3 and WP4. The aim of sub-task 1.4.2 is to implement a human-centred, holistic, and iterative service design approach for the exploration and ideation of new services with relevant stakeholders. In the process, we have engaged with city officials and experts from the other WPs of the project, as well as selected external experts, existing carbon monitoring service providers and various other stakeholders through co-design workshops in both exploration and ideation phases.

Findings from this task lay the basis for the forthcoming prototyping of selected service examples and the consecutive development of a portfolio of services for the use of cities (sub-task 1.4.3). They also give additional guidance to the model development (WP2) to focus the quantification and verification on those areas or sources that users find most important.
