The Communication, Outreach and Engagement strategy outlines the scope and goals of the PAUL - ICOS Cities communication. The overall mission is to ensure maximal relevance and impact for the project on a local, national and international level while impacting science, policy and the citizens. This strategy defines the key objectives and identifies the target groups, channels and tools, elaborates on the key messages, while also defining monitoring and performance measures, for maximizing the impact of the project. The strategy also includes a practical action plan, responsibilities, and a timeline. A specific section for engagement actions has also been developed. The visual guidelines for the project are presented as an attachment to the plan. Furthermore, the strategy is a living document that will be updated during the project lifetime based on results and feedback from the stakeholders.
