The Communications, Outreach and Engagement Strategy version 1.0. gathers all information regarding the communication and outreach activities of PAUL (Pilot Applications in Urban Landscapes) – ICOS Cities. The role of the communications in WP5, is to support and make it possible to realise the aims of the PAUL – ICOS Cities project. This document provides a plan for the communication and outreach of the objecties and results of the project, and presents in detail how the key messages will be efficiently communicated to the largest possible audience. The document represents Deliverable 5.5 for the project. The overall purpose of this document is to specify the scope, vision and means of the project’s outreach and communication, including its target audiences, content of the information to be disseminated and communicated, the mechanisms to do this effectively within the constraints of the available budget, and the metrics for assessment of its impact. A specific section for engagement actions will be developed for the next version of the strategy. Furthermore, the strategy is a living document that will be updated during the project lifetime based on results and feedback from the stakeholders.
